Im reading through his diaries from WWII- they’re fascinating so I’m enjoying reading them slowly, extracting little bits from them. He’s still training on RAAF Ansons and Tiger Moths where I’m up to (have some particular aircraft I’ll build one day) but I haven’t got to his time on Mossies in Nova Scotia and Europe yet.
 

I’ve got a special plane in mind with a connection to him, I’ll probably base it on the Tamiya 1/48 B Mk. IV

Xtradecal should have really provided squadron code & serial examples for all PFF units on their X72334 sheet. There’s way too many national insignia roundels provided and personally I’d be more than happy to use the ones supplied in the new Airfix kit anyway.
