Hi,

 

I'm a bit hesitant to commit to too many GB's and then drop out, but I do love Hawker Hurricanes.😉

In the ideal scenario, the STGB would be in a calm period of the year for me and it would have turned out that Kotare's "secret item" is a Hurricane.

Otherwise, I should  have time to build a 1/72 one.

So, please sign me up.

Given your build rate you should be able to get through a couple of Hurricanes in this GB to make good there, James. 🤣

That depends on if it's a good month or a bad one, you may have noticed my output tends to be more fits & starts than an even flow  Nothing finished in the first 6 months of the year, 3 in December

Although I built the Airfix 1/24 kit in my youth and the Revell Mk.IIC about 10-15 years ago, in my current modelling iteration I've only got an Airfix ragwing and an AZ Mk.IID on the shelf (both in 1/72). 

 

I've got a small stash of 1/72 Arma kits from metal-winged Mk.I through to Mk.IID including a Sea Hurricane, as well as a set of 3 overtrees - so plenty of options to choose from for a range of variants and marking schemes

Nice, such a beautiful little kit. I have one (so far!) in my stash. My plan ATM if this gets through would be build it plus a 1/48 Arma Hurricane as well, which I reckon would be a nice little compare and contrast exercise…

As I have a brand spanking new Arma 1/48 Hurricane IIb winging its way to me in the post (I’ll be converting it to a Sea Hurricane IIb) and I only converted the Hasegawa 1/48 Hurricane IIb to a Sea Hurricane IIb in 2023, I think I can delay the build to next year.  
 

So if there is a berth available for me I would love to join the Group Build please?

Ooh, I’d love to see that! Welcome to the list. The Arma 1/48 I’m sure will be popular, but a Sea Hurricane conversion would definitely stand out.
