Hello to all,

Ok so I’m putting this up plenty early, probably about 4 weeks early.

I really enjoy armour and really enjoy the year book. But to be fair I don’t really see a lot of armour in the BM year book…. So I was going to suggest to those who don’t normally post anything there to think about doing so this year.

I know theirs some who do already post their finished builds there and maybe theirs a few of us in this section of the forum who don’t even look in that direction (toward the bottom of the home page).
It’s good to look back at what you’ve achieved in a year and to look at what others build in the year or even to make plans for builds in the year to come. You might see some modellers on their and think “ I didn’t realise they did that”, I know I have in the past.

Theirs some fantastic builds/builders on here and it’d be a shame to let all the plane guys take all the credit!!! (Nudge nudge wink wink only kidding).

All the best,

Paul

I do take a look at that over the years but my output was too small for me to think of starting a thread on there. I've had a reasonably productive year so I may stick up a year book.👍

Honestly wouldn’t worry about the quantity, I’ve seen some entries with one or two builds… it’s just a cool thing as you get to see what people are into and those lucky few who can do a bit of everything. My theory is that it’s the one section where we all become a community across the whole forum (ok so enough of the cheesy speech now…. You know what mean).

I've posted a few armour builds there in recent years, in addition to aircraft. I'm always amazed by the variety and quality of the models from other members on display, and it's a great way to catch up with gems I may have missed during the year.
