Panzer IV Ausf.G early version

I built this tank many years ago, but I decided to give it a new look and, sincerely and humbly, I think that it deserved better photos. Well, this is the venerable Gunze Sangyo kit reboxed by Dragon in 1996. If I'm not wrong, this is the only and authentic Panzer IV Ausf.G early version that I know on the market, because it is the only one that has the side skirts more distant from the turret and the two driver's viewing holes on the front plate, like the original vehicle. Even by current standards it is excellent and refined kit IMHO. Heavy weathering.

Thanks for looking !

That is superb Cesar. Well worth your time giving it a going over. Some excellent weathering techniques have given it a new lease of life. Bravo.👏

Many thanks Stef,

This kit really deserved more attention in some areas to make it more attractive.

I achieved a better result, I think...

Thanks Roberto, very kind.

In reality, there is always something more to learn.

I keep trying, you know, mistakes and successes....

I agree with the previous responses, lovely work on the quality of build and weathering. A nice mix of wear, dirt and dust. The crew would be brave going into combat with the flamethrower stowed on top of the turret 🔥

Just as I thought I was starting to get the hang of armour weathering, you had to go and make me feel like a novice again.  How dare you!  Superb work.  I'm going to refer to your photos in the future for some upcoming builds.

As the others have a superb job. The weathering reflects a very war weary look.

Great job on this and fantastic weathering. i am guessing those are acrylic effects for the mud stains.

Thank you for the compliments.

I used my Gunse Sangyo weathering set to make the effects.
