Finally finished!

I still wanted to record the process as a bit of guide for myself and future builds as well. So… I started with pre shading:

3-C6-B5-C76-F0-CE-433-B-8630-6450812-E62

Then two coats of main colour painting:

A4-D536-FC-6-FA2-4748-932-D-0-C3-EAA360-

Had a mare with over thinned w and n gloss varnish which pooled up:

I had to carefully strip some back with alcohol and a cotton but but still managed to knock some of the paint off in spots.
I repainted areas as best I could then

used gloss spray rattle can varnish which came out better and then added decals:

9-DBCD899-0-B33-46-DD-B86-C-99-F6-F6-AFAThen oil filters: blues and greys at the bottom and a bit of Sandy/dust colours. Sandy and dust colours on top side:

   C47-E6-A80-E04-E-454-E-89-E8-435-FDF2-C6

Added gun smoke and engine exhaust streaks with black oil:

42-EDDA1-B-FF47-4-BBE-BF97-8-BFC35153-F7

Then chipped in with silver from mig ammo and a pin wash with raw umber oils:

4-CD2-F975-4040-40-F9-B161-23-D6-F974-DCThen sealed it all in with Matt varnish… finally done with addition of the glass bits:

Nice to see this one finished :) It's a great little scene, with very nice models in it. Well done!
