81-er Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 A bit late as I actually finished these for the de Havilland GB, but this is a pair of Vampires built from the Airfix 1/72 T-11 kit, both with Xtradecal decals and home-designed & 3d printed stands (and engine exhausts) to display them in flight. De Havilland Vampire T11, R2400 No. 2 Sqn, Rhodesian Air Force, 1972 De Havilland Vampire T11, J-305 (ex-WZ512) Grupo 8, Chilean Air Force 1973-1974 Build thread is here: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235125657-a-brace-of-vampires/ James 49 1

81-er Posted September 28, 2023 Author Posted September 28, 2023 Thank you I do like a less-common scheme James
Fritag Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Very nice pair of Vampires, James. I wish I’d caught more of the builds. Clever stands n’all. Like them. 1
81-er Posted October 2, 2023 Author Posted October 2, 2023 Thanks Steve I've had a lot of comments either at my club or at shows about the stands, seems like you're not alone in liking them. I even had the chap from the Airfix magazine asking about them at Brampton last weekend, so they may pop up in that at some point. I'll have them with me at Telford, if you fancy a look in person James
