Ahoy everyone.
So as promised, here are the fruits of my labor after two and a half years of construction.
All that's left for me to do is wish you a lot of fun looking at the pictures.

Thank you.
The figures are from North Star Models.
Unfortunately I don't know what's going on with the company because their website is down.

Here is a link to scalemates, the figures were available from many nations in different poses.

That is stunning - hope you're going to put it in a glass case to keep the dust off !!!

Thank you all.
I'm very pleased that my boat is well received.
Of course it has already been given an adequate berth.
I think in the pictures above you can even see a little dust that landed on the model during the construction phase. And that even though I covered it with a cardboard box during construction breaks.

Have a look.....

Gidday Jolle, it's good to see that such an exquisite model will be protected. BTW, that's a very tidy work bench. It's not natural, get some junk on it! 😁 Regards, Jeff.

Thanks Jeff.

Believe me, this is not the natural state of this workbench.
That was just to pose. 😉

Well I think that you have just set the gold standard that all of us 1/200 builders are aspiring to !!

Very well done, just the right degree of weathering, and some lovely set pieces with the crew.

cheers

First of all, a wow back to everyone. Thanks for the many great compliments.

Zoran, I feel bad for disappointing you.
I became unfaithful to building model ships and started building a spaceship. Unfortunately it is a childhood dream of mine as I am a big Star Wars fan, to build the Milenium Falcon.
But I swear, after that we'll move on to the next ship straight away.
You can choose from the Mikasa and the Yamato from Japan or the Rodney from England.

Disappointed !! Heavens, no, I'm impressed!! And, I'm honored....  I have both Mikasa and Yamato in stash (but in 350th scale), and although Yamato is most impressive, both of them can be seen... But Rodney... that's a rare fish, so if you might consider her... That would be a real treat....

That doesn't mean that you should put Millennium Falcon away, and if it's in  72nd scale.. Yay !!!

Phew, I'm reassured. Great, so we'll be reading a lot more about each other. I'm happy.
It's still a while before the decision is made as to which ship it will be. But I will let you know in good time. 😉
