Having had a couple of non finishes due to paint drying issues, I've gone for something I know I have acrylics for.

It's another golden oldie from me, well you didn't really expect anything else did you !

Brings back great memories of the epic Heller Classic GB, happy days.

Good luck everyone

Hi Pat,

I can't believe it!

Only one set of wings, no struts, no floats, no rigging, no short run, no vacform?!!!

Have you been checked by a shrink doctor lately? Are you still taking the pink pills the nice men in white made you take in that nice place with nice and softly padded walls?

To say I am worried is an understatement. So do not exert yourself and call 911 if you want to add an extra pair of wings to this nice Karas.

Have fun.

Sorry JR

I've had this kit for ages, and was originally going to build it in the Heller Classic GB but built a Viking Longboat instead  !

It's been getting in the way and annoying me ever since, so it's time has come.

Normal madness and obscurity of subject will resume in due course

Fun fact: "Polish" and "Reading" are the only two words in the English language that are pronounced differently when capitalised.

Allegedly.

@Adrian   Reading your comment made me consider that it is only true when not opening the sentence, and possibly because both examples are Proper Nouns.   Polish up your grammar!

This is an excellent (and classic) kit and I'm looking foward to seeing it build up.  I'm sure your build will shine...

I've always liked this aircraft's brutish look.

Indeed.  It certainly prioritises function over form.

Just a thought: Your builds might be easier if you sat in the chair and built the kit on the bench, not the other way around

Great Minds!! This was also my first thought, but Pat is vastly experienced……. I’m not sure how to finish this sentence.

You're assuming there's only one chair, and the pictured chair isn't in fact his bench in disguise ;)

I've had a problem with my mobile phone camera.

The pictures I took yesterday morning have either not been saved or didn't work. So the interior assembly is missing from the WIP. I spent 2 hours on it, along with getting wings on etc.

Therefore the next picture is this one the previous ones including the clock from last night's session must have had the same issue. I restarted last night at 11:20 and finished just after 1am

Big push on today to get this one finished, as Mrs Jockney on the prowl to get domestic jobs done

Getting the engine to fit the fuselage was a bit of a struggle and managed to lose the ariel from the top of the canopy.

However I'm calling this one done.

As you can see it's still wet after the application of decals and sealer, but if I wait for it to dry I might not be able to escape Mrs Jockney to take pictures before the deadline !

Hi Pat,

your Karas scrubs up beautifully. Splendid result for such a blitz build. Definitely something I would be incapable of.

Congrats Mate.
