I've been reading around the posts here and am strangely attracted to this form of modelling self-harm. 

 

I wonder if i might join in please?   

 

I realise I might be borderline certifiable;  I've never done a Group Build before and certainly not a Blitzbuild (about which I've only just found out!).  But I have a lot of enthusiasm and always like to see the funny side of things.  Just to add a bit of extra spice, I am going on holiday on Monday so will HAVE to finish by end of Sunday.    If nothing else I might provide the definitive "How not to do it".

 

If it's ok, my subject will be the well known Airfix Bf 109 E-3 Starter Set which I picked up in a local sale at about half-price.

This will be my first Blitzbuild missed for some years - 🥹 - bad diary planning and postponed events have caught up with me. I'd even tracked down a Pegasus 1/72 Fulmar in response to @JOCKNEY 's challenge from last time out. It'll have to wait.

I'll be popping in to lend support though - good luck with all your builds!

I distinctly remember you promising a Pegasus biplane with full rigging 

 

Having said that, a "Battle in a bikini 👙" will be great to see, good luck mate

I missed the last one in May, it still hurts... Good luck.

I feel like I'd want to try my luck again, it's been several years since my latest Blitzenbuild. The Airfix bomber re-supply sets have several subjects that suit this just fine. V-P

Yes another cracking BlitzBuild, well done everyone. 

We have had the usual gang with the usual results, newbies putting us to shame, eggggscellent gags, new recruits to the Pink primer & most importantly learned that @JOCKNEY sits on his desk and uses the chair as his desk & still turns out a completed model.

It was nice to have a free weekend to join in with the Blitzbuild again, even if I did overstretch with my original plan. If anyone needs me I'll be twitching in the corner while I recover from the P-40...

Thanks, I had fun! I had skipped Blitzbuilds for several years, as they never seemed to fit my weekends. I will probably need to repaint the bomb trailer, though, the incorrect green has started to annoy me considerably . V-P
