Looking really good Ray, why do tanks look so large and imposing until you add some figures then you think, how did they manage to fit the whole crew in there?

Thanks Bob. I like modelling the figures to give some perspective for that reason. I regularly walk through the Bulgarian National Military Museum here in Sofia. Excellent outside display and a lot of AFV's, artillery and aircraft to get up close to. I often think the same checking out the Panzers, Stugs, T-34 and such.

The Valentine is absolutely superb, Ray! :clap2:Your figures are really going to lift this to an even higher level, and they're coming along well already. I really like the guy climbing aboard

Thanks James, I am looking forward to the next post showing them all in position before painting. That will be significant progress. A lot of scraping, cutting and gouging underway.

That's a superb job you've made of your Valentine, Ray. An absolutely top notch build. I'm really looking forward to seeing the figures come to life, too.

Thanks Ian. I have done a little more on the figures although the past week has been busy with other matters. Not a lot of time at the modelling bench. Looking forward to the weekend.

Have you had the opportunity to do any more on this one Ray?

Hi Craig,

It's been a couple of hectic months that has given much free time. Hope to get back into it soon.

Any chance you could put some pictures of your excellent Valentine in the gallery Ray? I know you haven't finished the figures but the tank itself is completed and you put a lot of effort into it so it deserves it's place in the line up.

Hi Craig,

Sorry I could not post the images in time for the conclusion of the GB. The model is on the opposite side of the planet. In hindsight, I should of just posted the WIP images.

Sadly, not much time for modelling in the past 6 months due to work and travel commitments. My New Year's resolution is to complete the two 2024 GB's I have committed to - Boomers and Stuart - and then focus on completing the raft of models started in the past 18 months and get back to my one kit and finish dictum.

Thanks as always for your commitment and support. See you around the builds.
