Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf. H Vomag. Miniart 35302

Hello folks, I have just completed my build of a Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf. H Vomag. This Is another model that I have completed from Miniart, which I found to be a brilliant model to make. I also wanted to do a base and do a winter scene. At first I wasn't sure whether to just do a blanket of snow and add the tank to it but the more I started building the base I realised that I wanted to do a melted snow scene with a bit of mud. The figures I have used were from Panzer Art for the tank crew and Alpine for the foot soldier. Here's a tour around the tank....

An exceptional model, I love its winter finish, very well executed, and the figures are stupendous, with a base that suits it very well to show it "in its sauce"...lol.

You've surpassed yourself with this one Ed. Even though the figures were of varying quality, your painting has made them all look the same, ie; first class. Oh, and that base is the poodles privates.

Nice work, Ed. Winter schemes like that are had to get right, but you've nailed it, as you have with the 'wet look' weathering on the running gear. The figures are the icing on the cake. Terrific stuff!
