Testor's Pt-20 Ryan Trainer Finished

This was a great little kit to build. It fit nicely and was a very fast paced model. I used a matt black undercoat with Vallejo's aluminum color. The pilots are painted with Testor's enamels. The one problem I had with this model is that the some of the decals shredded.  They were out of the package but I kept them out of the way and covered so I'm unsure of what could've happened. If you've experienced this and know what might of happened, please comment! Enjoy the photos!

Old decals can certainly be a problem. MicroScale Industries' Liquid Decal Film can help.

This is very nice. For these orange markings I prefer making them with paint like I did with this Martin 139 here.
