I managed to get this for a tenner.

 

I will be converting it to this…

 

First up some plans for the ring. I wasn’t sure which scale so I’ve scaled it to 1/72 and 1/48.

Started on the hull. It’s a nice little kit but requires careful assembly as it’s all individual flat parts.

 

Thats one of the resin road wheels from my 1/24 builds for size comparison.

Next step make the flotation device.

2mm styrene cut out with my scroll saw.

 
Some 10mm balsa as spacers between the two styrene parts.

 

Lower sheet added.

 

Finally added the raised foredeck and 20 thou sheet all aroundz

And we have a little tank. It has link and length tracks but as they will be completely covered by the flotation device I’m not going to bother attaching them.
