JeroenS
Hi all, this is a build from Big in Japan GB. It's a classic kit, I was able to get the original 1981 boxing at some point. I started out with high hopes, but soon found that the kit is really clunky. It's a motorized kit (I left all that out) so there are switches, and a huge battery housing in the cab. During the build, I had a couple of times when I wanted to bin it, but I stuck with it. My original idea was a nice looking white cab over black chassis, but it didn't fly. The moulding of the cab was not very good in places, so I took a different route and chose a different colour, and weathered it. It's not exactly my best work but I'm happy enough with the outcome. Equally happy that this build is done! Build log is here. Thanks for watching!

The kit may have been a bit clunky, but you've really done it justice. Nice work Jeroen. John.
