JWM
Interesting - about 40% reduced costs compared to original Academy box!
franky boy
I can hear my wallet groaning! Seriously that’s great news, I’ve wanted to do an RAF Washington for ages. James
fightersweep
£40 pre-order from the Big H seems very reasonable for such a big lump of plastic. I may have to buy one.
Killingholme
Good price for a good kit, good decals and a mask set! "Shut up and take my money!"
Ptmvarsityfan
Backordered one from Hannants, as noted above a reasonable price for a large kit and an important 1950's RAF aircraft although a bit forgotten these days Cheers, Paul
woody37
Great to see a Washington coming out, I built one a few years ago. Quite fancy doing a US scheme next.
SAT69
I'm no expert, but the B-29 kit looks much more accurate than the B-50D kit I had some years ago.
fightersweep
Pre-ordered the Washington and now I've just gone and pre-ordered the B-29A just because I like the Thumper scheme. Like I need any more kits. Sheesh! Haven't had a 1/72 B-29 since my dad built me the Airfix kit way back in 1976, so I'm looking forward to this one. Maybe this time it won't be used to bomb my HO/OO Japanese infantry or suffer countless crash landings on my bedroom carpet battlefields. Or maybe it will 🤔 3
Retired Bob
Never had, or built a B-29 in my life. Time to change that, pre-order in.
TEXANTOMCAT
The reissue of this as a Washington is IMHO, genius 👍
LN-KEH
Hobby 2000 get sprues from Japanese and Korean manufacturers and add interesting decals before selling the kits at reasonable prices. I like...
