Catalina Mk I 209 Sq Lough Erne, Northern Ireland May 1941. The one how spotted and tracked the Bismarck 26 may 1941. Kit Wolfpack (Academy) in 1/72

Alain,  nice Catalina!

I did model of the same machine from Airfix set (conversion from PBY5A to PBY5, so from amphibian to boat) when I was 14, so 50 years ago... Few year ago I did a refurbishment of this  old model, it was on show here on RFI/BM ...

Anyway I have a soft spot to WQ-Z...

Regards

The Catalina flying boat looks indeed attractive in British colours.

Very nice Catalina. Not an aircraft I have built since being about 13, a long while ago.

Thank you very much.

Thank you very much. It was courageous of you to transform the Airfix kit.
