Hi Pat

Can you add me on the list with a special opportunity to build a Clear Prop kit.

This will be : Mitsubishi Ki-51 Sonia in 1/72. So far I haven't chose between CP72011 and CP72013.

Patrick

Hi Patrick

You are very welcome sir, start your build thread, and I'll add you to the List of Fame on the front page :like:

Have to agree, we never get many vehicles and when will you next get an excuse to build it ? :fingerscrossed:

That makes it three of us! 👍

I should start a second build, the question is which. The tram and the bus are both quite involved, probably a bit much at the moment as I have other projects on the bench too, and work threatening as well. Still we go until December something... It’s not that long since I built a USCP Citroën SM; too early for a repeat. DH88 Comet, perhaps? It's so beautiful... Now a Caudron Simoun from Dora Wings is probably a hot candidate. Oh the choices...

Comet is my 1st choice, my second would be the 3rd kit from the top DW48047.

Hi Pat, another lesser known Ukraine manufacturer is Bat Project. They only have a few kits, but they are listed on Scalemates. I have the Bat Project 1/72 Boeing Stratoliner, and entered it in the South of the Rio Grande GB, but I didn’t get very far due to health problems, and there’s only a couple of days left. I’m hoping I might be able to enter it here if permitted.

Cheers

Hi,

Would this be OK for the GB: a 1/144 Mikromir Valiant with the Transport Wings conversion set to build it as a B Mk2?

I believe there is sufficient percentage of Ukranian parts in the end result, but I thought I'd better ask before I start a thread.

Cheers, Stefan.

Thanks, Pat.

I sure hope I can pull this off...otherwise it's going to be an expensive failure.

I've not signed up for this previously but long thought I should, for a variety of reasons, the safeist to mention being I have several Ukrainian origin kits in stock, Amodel/Sova-M, MikroMir, Modelsvit, Roden, Toko & likely some ex Frog from Donetsk Toy Factory, but I'm going the throw my hat in the ring with the MikroMir via S & M  Hunting Provost Mk 52 in the Sultan of Oman's Air Force colours. It looks as though the fag end of the year may not be too much of a panic, which was my initial reason for prevaricating, aka dithering. :)

Hi Steve

As you're an old mate, I'll not dob you in to @Enzo the Magnificent, best of luck with the S&M kit and hopefully it won't be too painful

Hi, would like to join with a very fitting kit from ICM, though it was already started during the The Golden Age Of Transport GB and I had to suspend the build because of some malformed parts which after some time were replaced by the manufacturer (my hat's off to them, considering the war situation).

This is the current status, I assembled most of the chassis and some parts here and there but nothing is painted yet, and I fear most of the effort will be spent into this phase.

Would it be eligible? Please answer in earnest, don't want to push the rules.

Thank you!

@JOCKNEY,  was down for the Roden He111, but after your advice of a stiff drink or two and having researched on line, it really seems to be a bit of a 🐷. So it can stay in the box for later, but I will substitute these two for it.

Please accept my apologies for not keeping up with this GB, I've been finishing off hosting the D-Day GB and actually trying to build something myself ! Yes shocking i know i can only apologise :surprised:

I can only promise to do better in the future and will catch up with all the great new builds and those already underway :frantic:

Hi everyone

As you have no doubt seen I'm reminding everyone that we only have a month left in this GB :frantic: by asking how people are getting on.

Now I know I've got a bit of a cheek asking how you are all getting on when I haven't started my own builds but that's one of the perks of being your host

Let's try to get as many as we can in the gallery

Good luck everyone

Cheers Pat
