Stéphane Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Hello guys, Second build for this year, the Hasegawa 1/48 F-104G in the markings of the Belgian AF 349 Sq. Paints are Gunze and AK real colors acryls, while decals are from an Eduard reboxing of the Hasegawa kits. This build is a gift for a fellow belgian modeller. Post split as there's qui te a lot images Hope you'll like her. 37
Wightboy Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Very nice, lived in Tongeren between 83-86 whilst posted with the RAF.The 104 had gone by then but used to see F-16s and Mirage Vs regularly, especially as the Mirages were nearby at Bierset. 1
Chrisj2003 Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Very nice, particularly like the underside weathering. Chris 1
franky boy Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Great work Stephane It’s always good to see a 104 and the Hasegawa kit still builds up very well. James 1
SAT69 Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 That has to be the best F-104 I've seen on this web site. 1

James Thanks a lot James, glad you like her. Yes Hasegawa kit is building quite good considering its age. Kinetic is a bit more detailed and especially provides armament and wing pylons and tanks, which the Haseg don't. I still to build one of my kinetics, but it will cetainly happen before the end o f this year, I'm addicted to 104 :) 1
Pantherhawk27263 Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 What a lovely F-104!!! Excellent work! 1
binbrook87 Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Fantastic! The Belgian F-104s surely have to be the most attractive. Great work and thanks for sharing 👍 1
Martin1962 Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 I think that is the best F104 build I've ever seen. I have a long long way to go to get to this standard of model making. Utterly amazing. Thanks for sharing. 1
ringo Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Very realistic build, subtile weathering, almost like real deal! Congratulations!
kiseca Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Excellent looking build that really stands out well in the closeups. Very tidy work.
Wightboy Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Further to my comment a few days ago, I found myself going into the loft today to retrieve my Hasegawa boxing to build it using the Daco sheet with Ambiorix on the intake. 😄
corsaircorp Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Great104 stephane !! Really well done !! Sincerely. CC
