Kit - Airfix

Paint - All lacquers

Decals - Xtradecal 72 291

Extras - None

Enough has been written about this wee gem, so I'm not going to try to add anything other than this: If you need a 'mojo restoration project' , you could a h*ll of a lot worse than buy this one. Honestly I was a little sad when it was done. Wonderful wee kit, more like this please Airfix.

Yes I agree... I love this kit too. One of Airfix's finest (apart from the dayglo stripe decals which left a lot to be desired!) Lovely result and great choice of markings...

Very nicely done Ian, I have not done one in Cranwell markings, it looks really good.  I agree one of the best that Airfix have done in the last few years, I have built four of them, one more to go!!  Which make of dayglo paint did you use?

Here's the thing matey... it isn't Day Glo !. This is Tamiya LP-51 (two light coats) over a base of Tamiya 'Racing White' LP-39. it covers perfectly and really is as intense as you see it in the photos.
