Gisbod Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Hi all, The latest Dambuster boxing from Airfix… Cheers Guy 55 2
Farmerboy Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 You have been a busy boy! But it hasn’t affected your ability to create another stonking model, beautifully done, good job! 2
Winded Penguin Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 This is a really nice result👍 Especially liking the way you've done the camouflage soft edges. They give a really cohesive look in 1/72 scale. 1

Yep, I’ve been racing through projects, trying to clear my bench for some Wingnut Wings kits I’ve acquired 😀 3 hours ago, Winded Penguin said: This is a really nice result👍 Especially liking the way you've done the camouflage soft edges. Alpha Delta 210 Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Stunning result and a real pleasure to see a representation of a factory-fresh machine, rather than one that should be consigned to the fire dump! 1
georgeusa Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Very nicely done Lancaster. I do like the finish with just a hint of weathering, i.e., the panel lines. Just out of curiosity, is this the new tool Lancaster from Airfix from the 1980s or the ancient one done from the 1950s? Thanks for sharing. 1

Graham Boak Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Hang on - there were three Airfix Lancasters, the original one, the new one in the 1980s, and the current one in the 21st century. I had assumed that this was the current one, judging from the trench lines not the rivets. 1
