Bozothenutter
Since reference on this aircraft seems a bit thin on the ground, I thought I'd start a thread. There is of course this: https://bristolscout.wordpress.com/ Which has a lot of info, though pics are small and scattered. Really hoping the 3D work will be made available, commercial or otherwise. First time I've seen an aircraft in CDL and the translucence very much part of the character. I wish CSM would do a clear version, to easily achieve this effect. An alternative would be creating the full structure and covering with....something. I've seen the 'smoke and mirror' tricks with paint and fake shadows, but that just doesn't hit the spot. Maybe Aviattic will do a 3D printed frame, like they did for the Fokker D.VII, one can hope... Edited March 16 by Bozothenutter
Putty Animal
Is the Bremner Scout a 1:1 replica, or is it scaled down slightly? I can't quite tell if it is a little bit undersized.

Here is a link to a set of reference photos I took of it for my scratch build. https://www.flickr.com/gp/187004837@N07/j556iBib1s Hope this helps. RichieW
Just to clarify it now wears roundels rather than Union Jacks on the fuselage. If you go to David Brenner's website there are many interesting photos of the build process with many detailed pictures. @Putty Animal might we see one in 1/144 scale? I would love to see that if so! Brandy
Don't forget it's only translucent when lit from above. You could always model it in a hangar in winter! Ian 1
