Vampire FB5, FAA. (1/48)

Recommended Posts

Been getting my teeth into Vampires.

This is a FB5 from the Station Flight. RNAS Yeovilton, July 1954.

A simple alterative to the box options.

Please feel free to comment etc.

Thanks for looking

Nice work Dick. How did you find the kit in terms of fit?

Thanks

James

The fuselage / wing half's are a nightmare . Not Airfix's best effort . Dry test, then dry test even more. Also make sure you have enough weight in the nose.

Stunning, simply stunning,  great work, I didn't realise the FAA had these, I know about the F.20, hmm will have to look at an FB.5 now for my FAA collection.

Thanks for sharing.
