IMHO the weathering can't look any better. The figures really add to the realism of the presentation. Did you use a microscope when painting the figures? Hi and thanks - that wasn't the intention but the heat from the blow torch which forms the wave-like undulations, also gives the surface that "ripple" effect that you see when wind blows across it.
