Notty Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 (edited) My first ever build of something that doesn’t fly. It has the magic scale modelling light & sound kit, and the only other extra was 3D printed antenna tensioners from Shapeways. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even the painting of 40 little crewmen, but now I want a big British Navy Destroyer to go alongside it! Thanks for looking. if anyone’s interested you can see the full cycle on my Youtube channel with the lights and sound telling a little story, with some dialogue sampled from Das Boot (where else!) Zoran Srb Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 Wow, 48th scale!!! That's a beast!! If I want one of those, I'll have to give away one of my kids to make a space. Great job, exterior, interior, lighting, sound, all is top notch!!!! Real stunner!!!! Btw. Do I spy with my little eye a "Bit O'lace" on the wall?? What's that, 32nd scale, I cant tell?? You do like them big 😉!! Can we see more of her??

MRMRL Posted January 25 Posted January 25 That's phenomenal. I saw the first picture and was thinking it's a good sub model, then the interior pictures appeared, next level stuff that 😁 1
Gimme Shelter Posted January 28 Posted January 28 wow - what an incredible build and great to see it assembled and wired up. I had this kit in my stash, with some 3rd party extras but gave up the will to start it and sold it off - the box was HUGE! Looks superb - well done (did you paint the loo roll on the bulkhead wall?) 1

It’s a busy kit, the only thing you need to add (I couldn’t be bothered) are boxes of food and sausages hanging from every pipe
