Coming along very nicely there.

I've heard that the tolerances are tight in this kit. When I finally get round to building the Walrus in the stash, I think I'll be masking a lot of mating edges just to be on the safe side when painting bulkheads and the like.

Will you be building the kit wings out or wings folded?

We will see during further progress how tight they are....

Gonna build it with unfolded wings

Very very nice. One in the stash as well. Was the clamp because of the fit or just to hold things steady. The multi-part hull, which I didn't know about when I got it, looks daunting

Used the clamp because of the fit. Well, the new(er) Airfix kits are no Tamiygawa regarding the fit but no real major problems.

While not my genre, I have to say that this is impressive!  Lots of detail added and the paint job looks great!  👍

AK Real Color for things that should dry fast, for the rest Gunze Aqueous when there´s no hurry

Do you spray it on in layers, as I always have trouble getting a smooth gloss finish when spraying, just wondering what technique you use

yes, in layers

after the camo paint comes the first gloss layer, then decals, gloss, panel wash, gloss...
