It took a lot of help with the construction but she did the painting, decal application and weathering completely on her own with only my verbal guidance. Same with the base - only the big bush was pasted by me due to the large amount of CA glue. Meanwhile, her next model is being made but this time a plane. A very poor HobbyBoss kit - there is not even any point in teaching her to putty, but this time she will get an airbrush for painting it. The paint finish is pretty much flawless, something I've seen adult modellers with experience struggle with. Creativity and resourcefulness isn't a strength of today's kids. It's easier to download both.
