Ol' Scrapiron
I see that @zebra is building a Super Guppy, so I thought I would share some pics I took of the Boeing 377-SG Super Guppy on display at the Pima Air Museum in Tucson, Ariz., and the Boeing 377MG Mini Guppy at the Tillamook Air Museum in case they are of some value ... for reference or merely inspiration. Boeing 377-SG 52-2693 Super Guppy Pima Air Museum - 1949 Boeing 377MG #15937 Tillamook Air Museum I realize Zebra's project is 1/44 so the interior shots won't matter, but who knows if there is some other larger project in need of super detailing. - - - - - - - - - For a sense of scale... my car has its own Boeing-inspired tail (OK, OK. I only added this for bragging rights.)

Awesome photos, thanks @Ol' Scrapiron! The Super Guppy at Pima is actually quite a different aircraft from the Super Guppy Turbine in the Otaki/Revell kit - different engines (P&W T-34 with three-bladed props vs the Allison 501 with 4-bladed props on the SGT) and a different fuselage with much more of the Stratocruiser in it - if you compare your photo with the SGT in my thread, you can see the double-bubble with a crease in the lower fuselage on the SG that isn't there on the SGT - the SG used the lower fuselage of a Stratocruiser with the expanded fuselage sitting on top of it, whereas the fuselage on the SGT was all new, which resulted in a bigger cargo volume and 5ft wider floor in the hold. I've got a slightly crazy plan to build all the different Guppy models, starting with this SGT, with the rest converted from Minicraft Stratocruisers. So your photos will be great references!
