Bandit Resin seem to be primarily producing parts you would see on normal peacetime modern jets as opposed to the weapons you would see on combat operations. This enables the modeller to build the jets they might see normally or at airshows. The AN/ALQ-167 where developed by Rodale to provide Electronic Warfare training. Applications include ECM training, radar test and evaluation as well as tactical self-protection, escort and stand-off jamming. Some were used operationally in Desert Storm when it was found the current ALQ-126 did not provide the necessary coverage. However it remains primarily a pod for training purposes. 

The Resin
This kit supplied by Bandit resin has two main cast parts for the pod and then 3D printed parts for the Antennas and fins. The both the cast and 3D parts are excellent, the 3D parts are quite fin and will need careful handling. While the pod is shown here in 1.32 they are available in 1.48 as well. 

 

 

 

Conclusion
This is a great looking POD for your modern Jet, all the parts are very well made. Highly recommended.
