Harry_the_Spider Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 The Hasegawa A6 Intruder from a tool dating back to 1968. Don't know how old this boxing was but there was very little flash, no fit issues and the decals were fine, if a little reluctant to come away from the backing paper. OOB apart from the cockpit that I scratch built and the compressor facings which are photos lifted from the internet, printed and glued down the intakes. The kit cockpit! My scratch build. The paper engines. Some shipmates that are also ancient Hasegawas. 20 1
Pantherhawk27263 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Nicely done, Harry. While it, and it's shipmates, might be ancient Hasegawa kits they still build into spectacular models as you have clearly demonstrated. 1 1
billn53 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 This brings back old memories . . . . 🙂 Thanks!
BerndM Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Lovely work on the A-6 and the others as well. 1
Harry_the_Spider Posted February 7, 2023 Author Posted February 7, 2023 Done a bit of digging. She's in a sorry state now 😕 https://www.airfighters.com/photo/171887/M/USA-Navy/Grumman-A-6E-Intruder-G-128/160996/
noelh Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 (edited) Brings back memories alright. I built one back in the eighties and it was ancient even then. You've done a great job on it. Edited February 7, 2023 by noelh 1
