Wow!

I can only repeat the compliments the others have provided. Great model, great photography.

Even more amazing in 1/72.

You have set the bar very high for my 1/48 project of the same topic.....I suspect I will not manage anything as impressive.

Good stuff and a nice scene as well, the lighting sets it off beautifully.

Uhh the first picture is from the real deal, not your build? I can't tell the difference.. I can't give you a bigger compliment I think. 😀

Lovely build and great photography! I agree with Fred - I thought the first pic was areal one! Super work for 1/72!

Cheers

Thank you for these very kind comments - I've dabbled with photography for a few years, and now I know enough to hide some of my ham-fisted modelling 'oopsies' with careful lighting and angles! The DSLR shots are often focus-stacked (usually 8-10 shots blended) which can help with the illusion of a bigger subject which is further away. Coupled with a convincing backdrop (this Noy's Miniatures hangar), it can really work very well indeed.

WOW that's good.

Is there a build thread?

Pete

Thanks and no, I rarely do build threads - not sure why, to be honest. Partly because I'm nowhere near the astonishingly high standard that some members here display, partly as I'm a pretty slow builder. Maybe I'm also nervous that the finished thing won't be up to standard, especially if people have been following it's evolution! I guess I could do one for the next build and see how it goes...

It's the business. Great settings too. You even nailed the groundcrew poses just right.

Thank you folks. Really kind.
