This is looking excellent, the weathering brings it to life. Very nice how you’ve done silver fuel tanks with the blue underside too.

I’m tempted to get the 1/48 version after seeing this.

Here we are....

Now, I'm tempted too....

I must resist.... Too much kits on the bench....

Aaaaaaargh.....

Sincerely.

Thanks very Much,

I was pleased with the look of the HSS tanks against the PRU Blue.

I've also taken a fair bit of the dust wash back off as I felt it was too prominent.

It doesn't show up as much to the eye as in the photos but after seeing the pictures I couldn't unsee it.

Cheers,

Alistair

Looking very nice indeed Alistair,  also not seen a dust wash before.

Great job

Chris

Thanks Chris,

I'm certain that you have to be very sparing with it after my first attempt but luckily they give you a specific remover in the pack.

Cheers,

Alistair

Thanks Mark.

I found out when fitting the undercarriage supports that the wing to fuselage fit was entirely my fault as I has transposed the wheel well parts.

So, that's one less thing to watch out for.

Cheers,

Alistair

Maddening! Many thanks for the heads up - transposing stuff is bread-and-butter to me.....

I think it's done.

A clear coat of Windsor & Newton Satin with two drops of Tamiya Neutral Grey was sprayed over.

Once that was dry I painted up the wingtip nav lights, unmasked the clear pieces, placed the canopy decal and the last clear piece in the nose.

Super job Alistair, enjoyed the build from start to finish.

The finished item is stunning and a great example of what you can achieve.

Looking forward to seeing the Beau progress, another one to watch with relish.

Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic!  I like the dive brakes.

Thanks very much.

I left the Air Brakes open as the fit was so tight getting them flush would have been interesting, but it looks OK.

Cheers,

Alistair
