AliGauld
Back from work and out to the garage to spray some primer and check on things. The nose cone join still needs a little work. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Alistair

Samuraiwarrior
Looking good Alistair, I wondered about the nose cone joint and using the primer has highlighted where a little judicious sanding and filler is required. I'm sure it'll be sorted in double quick time and then onto the PRU blue, whoo hoo! Nice work so far. Kevin 1

Chris Thanks Chris, I did a little work on the nose last night and have just given it a spritz of paint and there's still a wee bit that requires more work. 11 hours ago, Dunny said: Lovely work Alistair - you must have an assembly line going with this and the SHAR! Cheers, Roger Thanks Roger, I try to keep myself to one in build and one in paint to keep me occupied when I'm waiting on glue or paint drying but I appear to have three in paint at the moment. Doh..... Cheers, Alistair

Nato Black for the panel lines, Buff and Desert Yellow in the spaces. Edit: So, I remembered to add the pics. If I get the time I will get some PRU Blue on the underside. AliGauld
A couple of misted coats or Colourcoats PRU Blue later. Then I lightened some PRU Blue with a couple of drops of Light Mediterranean Blue and shaded the panels. Followed by a highly thinned coat with the above mix and a few drops of Medium Sea Grey. And then a final misty coat of the same mix. I'll see how that looks in daylight and if it's acceptable them I cam mask up for the upper colours. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Alistair

Fritag
Just enjoyed the read from the beginning. Turn your back for a week or two and Alistair almost completes a Meteor build... 1
Samuraiwarrior
Looking very nice Alistair. The subtly of the PRU Blue, with its highlighting of certain panels adds to its realism. Such small changes in hue do make a Big difference. Nice work, watching with interest. Kevin 1

Well, I like to think so. Could be fooling myself. Cheers, Alistair
