PhantomBigStu Posted February 1 Share Posted February 1 (edited) My box of paused spitfires fell on the floor and all the parts go mixed and and had to go through them today, had already considered entering the Spitfire xii in fact think I posted it in the mustang thread but got cold feet, couldn’t enter the mkix as it lacked wing halves….anyway the accident made it obvious to wing halves are from the same kit so might as well get one done….though there’s the mkvii decals I’m thinking of one of the mkixs from various xtradecal sheets Edited March 6 by PhantomBigStu 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've actually got 2, one of all the spares from the kits over the years and one that contained the aforementioned IX and XII as well as what should have been my entirely spares box created XIX that seems to have swapped places with a Frog XIV. Got the XII here and reminded why every time I think about getting back to it I scream internally over the nose and put it back in the box, also decided the IX will be the VII after all. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PhantomBigStu Posted February 2 Author Share Posted February 2 Made a start and had a scare, the spinner was in 2 parts, I had been aware of this since I got the spinner spare in the post and done nothing to prevent the little bit going missle which it did between last night and this afternoon after I hoovered, fortunately I found it one the box was emptied and superglued it on....whoops.
