Little Frenchies: 1/72 H-75 Hawk, MS 406, Dewoitine 520; Marcel Bloch 152 Republic of Vichy...and a French Bulldog.

Good evening mates,

Time now for the Dewoitine 520.

Same procedure as for the Hawk and MS 406: I glued the wings’ halves, from which I had previously removed the flaps and ailerons, which were glued back slightly offset.

I glued the photoetched grills and deflector to the radiator cowling which will be placed under the belly.

As for the previous kits, the tail planes were glued to the fuselage too with the stabilizers angled down. The rudder will be added at the end, to allow an easier painting.

On this aircraft the flaps’ inner edge coincided with the demarcation line between the fuselage and wing, thus there aren’t any big gaps to be filled. I’ll add detail when I deal with this area.

This is it for now.

Next and last will be the Marcel Bloch 152.

Thanks for watching !

Nice to hear from you after so long, Davide!

Hope you're well?

It's been nice and relaxing to add the PE parts to these small cockpits and paint them in a relatively short time.

On this scale I couldn't have afforded much scratch!!! Got big hands, you know!

Great thread here Massimo. The level of detail that you manage to get into these cockpits is incredible. Very impressed indeed!
