That anybody is crazy/brave enough to build three of these things is enough; but to build them all to such a high standard is another! Well done! The 217 was the most handsome variant, but no longer a flying pencil- more like a flying permanent marker!

Let your Dad know his work and your photography and presentation are just excellent.  Such a great trio build.  The squiggle paint scheme is so well done and not an easy thing to accomplish.  Just great work.  Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much Mike. Yes, it was a challenge but the result is quite good.

Which kit did he use?

It was a mix.

For the AM7 he used the Do 217 K 2 from Italeri changing the engines, the tails, etc.

For the AM107 he used the Do 217 K 1 from Italeri changing the engines.

For the AM106 he used a kit that we had, the Nigh fighter Do 217 N1 changing the canopy, making the landing gear from scratch, modifying the nose, etc. My father used the engines from this kit to clone them for the other two models.

Thank you very much. He is also a photographer enjoying both hobbies at the same time.

The next project will be the Fairey Fulmar with 23 models.

Cheers
