Airfix 1:72 Bristol Bulldog Mk.IIa, 29 Squadron, RAF, North Weald, 1932.

With the build and finish of this kit you deserved that "Best in Class" award.  Such a well done aircraft.  Not only did you subject yourself to extensive rigging, you went a step further and proceeded to do a metal/silver dope finish.  No wonder it was almost trashed at time.  Thanks for sharing.

Having built a few of these I can honestly say that is the best looking 72nd Airfix Bulldog I've ever seen, amazing attention to detail!

Congratulations on the deserved awards, if you got a bronze at the nationals I can't even fathom what got gold!

I can honestly say that must be the best looking Bulldog I have laid eyes on, in any scale.

Very well deserved wins, so pleased you persevered and brought it here for us.

Thanks very much Rich. This got the Gold medal (ironically also a silver Airfix biplane). As mentioned, the Judges were very kind to me that day!
