theplasticsurgeon
This kit. Bought a few years ago from a colleague at work. Parts. Decals, not looking great - I may have to use spares. This option, in green/grey similar to my Hasegawa build.

IanC
A great subject, but a tricky kit as I remember. It was my first Dragon model, and first PE I think, so read nothing into that! 😀

The H had the long wings, the C was similar to an Fw190D9 - but a more powerful engine. The definitive Ta152 would have combined both features - but never happened. I'm not sure what you meant by the last sentence. There were an awful lot of projected variants of this fighter, times being desperate, but I've seen nothing suggesting that the long wings was to be standardised - if that's what you meant. The Ta.152C was running behind the H, so could have had them anyway had that been desired. The C had Ta.152 wings, not Fw.190D, Although the appearances were similar, they were different fighters.

theplasticsurgeon
Cockpit components. Fuselage around it, and wings about to be fitted. and the airframe assembled. The plastic is softer and less crisp than Hasegawa.

theplasticsurgeon
Disgruntled Tim One: The decals broke up, so I used spares so far. Two coats of Klear on the major ones that are left, so we'll see how that goes.
theplasticsurgeon
Decals not salvaged with Klear, so letters from spares. I won't be able to fully stencil it.
81-er
That's annoying about the decal problems, but you've saved it well, Tim James
