makeshiftwings Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 So I got an email from a certain hosting site for images about the impending deletion of my account. I bravely elected to go forth and see if there was anything worth saving. Lo, there was this. My ex-wife ensured this one ceased to exist many years ago, so it only exists as various component parts in my spares box and these images now. I was proud of it though. Its the 1/48 scale Tamiya 109 with Aeromaster decals. 23
Farmerboy Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Nice 109 well built and painted, my wife would be ‘ex’ if she touched my models!! 🤣 4
georgeusa Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Very nice 109 you used to have there. But, still the photo memory lingers on. That is the only way I get to remember most of my work done on kit interiors and they are hidden from sight now. Thanks for sharing. Maybe acquire a new kit and redo this? 1
Sky Keg Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Your 109 died a “hero`s” death. We look back at it with many fond memories. RIP old friend. Mike 1 1
Bertie McBoatface Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 You can't keep them all. But the photos last forever (if you have them printed out). It looks very well built, I hope its demise was painless 1
