Mitsubishi Ka-8 / KI-8

Has anyone ever built one of these ?

 

 

I'm not sure whether the kit is very basic or missing bits.

 

I appealed as it has twin tails and I'd never heard of it, so would like to know more about it.

Pat, please note it is KA-8, not Ki-8 as written on Merlin Models box,

Choroszy is producing Ka-8, you may compare the box content with those photos

The link to the Choroszy one is really useful,  looks like is going to need a bit of scratch building / prayer 🙏  to resemble anything like the real thing.

 

I would post pictures of the Merlin parts but I might frightened people of a nervous disposition

As you've probably noted already, Pat, "Merlin" is another word for "crude"!

Any kit with a number higher than the low teens, run away. Up until that point they were on a par with their few contemporaries.
