rafju
Dear All From tecnical drawings seen into books, it seems that closing/opening the front parts of the dust filter , the x2 quarter sphere covers - are driving with a cable, connected to a T shape hand lever in the cockpit. The question is what happens to this cable when the engine cowling is in open position? is there any removable connection from the firewall? something else? any picture? drawing? Many thanks in advance Raph

spruecutter96
If you're still looking for photos (unlikely, I know), there are some good close-ups of the filter on this Bf-109 on the Britmodeller website. Go to the Walkarounds section and have a look in the propeller-driven section. Cheers. Chris.
