Coors54 Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 I can see them, excellent work, I worked with BA making desktop presentation models for the launch, it was all very hush hush and we had to sign all sorts of agreements to make sure we didn’t “leak”. Thank goodness social media wasn’t much of a thing, you couldn’t get away with the secrecy these days. It’s a shame that the concept didn’t work out, must have cost BA a fortune for the repaints. I think I’ll stick with Flickr for future posts.
Andy Young Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 I can see them here. I missed this first time around, but these are excellent!. The back story is quite plausible too, and the in flight photos are very convincing. The Scottish one gets my vote as the best (but I like them all really!). Cheers, Andy
Skodadriver Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Sorry Matt but the photos are not visible to me either on my desktop (Apple Safari) or my phone (Android). Both are on whatever privacy setting comes as standard. I agree about Flickr being a safe bet. I'll also give a shout out to Hobby Photo Host. I tend to use Flickr for "portrait" photos of finished models where good definition is important. Hobby Photo Host is idea for more general stuff - build threads, photos showing problems with a kit and so on. Dave G
RidgeRunner Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Nice! Keeping the Dan-Air name flying! I was there from July 1977 until the end, finishing as part of the integration team. I left in February 1993. Flew in all the Comets, many HS748s, A300B4, 737-200/300/400, BAC 1-11 in all variants, Bae146-100/200, 727-100/200. Many off days were spent riding the jump seat around Europe Martin 1
