Neddy
For those of you who haven't been following the build thread, here it is... There's not much to add that hasn't been said in the build thread. Thanks to everyone who followed it's progress from a casual challenge from a younger brother, via the mankiest resin bare bodyshell I've ever seen, accompanied by an incomplete donor kit and a LOT of bad language. During it's progress I re-learned how to handle a (VERY) basic airbrush, how to use acrylic paints, what a royal pain in the knickers resin bodies are to carve about and how good it is to have some folks following the build, offering encouragement and not publicly laughing at my efforts to wrangle the damn' thing into some semblance of a plausible vehicle!
Pete in Lincs
That's a great looking end result, Neddy. What's next?
Neddy
Back to OOB building, the 1/16th scale '64 Mustang coupe which by now will have hardened off a treat following spray-painting.
Stickframe
I like the look of that car! looks very convincing as an early gasser 😀 cheers Nick
keefr22
That's an excellent result given what you started with (and having one of those shells I know exactly how bad that starting point was!!) - top job!! Keith
Spiny
Given the starting point I think you can be very happy with how that turned out. Consider that turd well polished
Neddy
Thanks for your kind words and encouragement during the build, people. Back to OOB for the time being but who knows? Another maniac idea might crop up somewhen... 😉
JeroenS
Well that's a pretty cool looking little thing and I like that colour!

desert falcon
Your patience (and maybe bad language?) certainly paid off 👍
Neddy
Yup, it took plenty of both!
Bengalensis
Excellent work, especially from that crude resin shell. Well done!
Vesa Jussila
You have done excellent work from parts that you had. Looks really nice.
fot0
Not followed the build, but end result looks great. Reminds me of Blackbushe back in the day. My p/t job on the pumps wasn't enough to get to Santa Pod as often as I liked.
Toftdale
A real characterful build, great result from such a low starting point - Andy
Six97s
Considering how ropey that resin body was, I'd be very happy with the result. I like the radiussed arches too - needed that.
