RAF Germany ground attack /strike phantoms

Hi

What did the Phantoms of 31/17/14 sqn carry as a war load before the Jaguar  replaced  them? We're they just too late for the BL 755? And were 540 lbrs carried as well as the 1000lb bomb?. I know there's a couple of members "in the know" and any gen greatfully recieved.

BL755's, MATRA 155 and 116 type 68mm rocket pods, 540 and 1000lb bombs, AIM-7E2 Sparrows, SUU-23/A gun on the centreline. Lepus flares were carried for night use.

 

A KB-18A strike camera pod was often carried in the port forward Sparrow well. 

 

And for the strike part: the WE.177, B43 or B57 "instant sunshine".
