Popular Post zebra
Here's my 1/72 Airfix Buccaneer built as S.2B XW987 of the A&AEE. I've built it as depicted in a few photos I found online of this aircraft in 1992, with a buddy refuelling pod on one wing and a slipper tank on the other. The decals are from 26 and the buddy pod, towel-rail antenna and wingtip cameras are 3D printed. The build thread is in the Prototypes, Racers, Research, Record Breakers and Special Schemes group build here together with my build of a Buccaneer development aircraft, XK527. and one shot of the two Buccs together: thanks for looking Julian 100

roginoz
What a fantastic brace of Buccaneers, Julian @zebra, you're certainly pumping them out ! Remember when the Buccs were first shown at Farnborough in 19???, they certainly created a heap of interest with their bulky frame and phenomenal low level speed and handling characteristics. A couple of models you can be justifiably proud of. Rog
