Hi,

This was my record year regarding number of models, all the vintage airplanes in 1/72. I ended with 30 finished. One more is almost done, but will be counted already to 2023.

The high score is because the majority are small machines.

Here we go:

1. Caproni Ca 133, The major part of work was done in 2021, but simply I did not managed to finish before 1st Jan...

What a collection, and nothing mainstream or commonplace!

Your Italian and obscure French models are an inspiration to me, and have grown my wish list enormously.

Thank you! My list of "1940 Italians" grown a bit recently - I have found then besides obvious RA types like SM79, Cr 42, MC 200, G50, Z506, Ro37  and perhaps some less expected like CR32 (69 of this type machines in total were in first line in 1940), Breda 88 (17 used) and the most striking: Savoia Marchetti SM 66 (5 of them in 613 Sq. Aut. at Cagliari, used for recce and sea rescue missions. Reggia Marina with Z 501, Z506, Ro43 but no Ro 44 quoted...

I am now eager to build SM 66!  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savoia-Marchetti_S.66

what an output! Well done.

Also, it's cool to see such a collection of weird and wonderful aircraft! I think I only recognised about five of these - the rest were completely new to me. Great yearbook and have a great 2023!

As ever, looking at your build output, about half of the types I have never heard of before! Every day is a school day :) Have a super 2023!

Regards,

Adrian

Thank you! I started 2023 with a series of (generally boring) Ju-88 family which appeared not that much boring in fact -  five already done and two more (188 and 388) in pipeline... But I wish to do some more vacu this year, we will see if I will manage...

Great builds and loads of unusual subjects, Jerry! I love the Caproni and Loire, and that Valenta is superb.

Martin

Martin, many thanks, I appreciate. :), Indeed, the Valentia and Caproni were the most demanding of them...

Thank you! Here was only one from the Netherlands, but near the top of stash I have a few more of them :)

That's a significant collection right there, and in 1 year - nice work

Many thanks! I am afraid that despite clearing the stash from 30 boxes similar number of new one came there...

Many thanks for all comments and likes!
