JWM
Hi, This was my record year regarding number of models, all the vintage airplanes in 1/72. I ended with 30 finished. One more is almost done, but will be counted already to 2023. The high score is because the majority are small machines. Here we go: 1. Caproni Ca 133, The major part of work was done in 2021, but simply I did not managed to finish before 1st Jan... 2. Heinkel He 70 F 3. Caudron Goelanad, 4&5 . Sukhoi Su 2 M82 & M88B ICM_AML conversion+Begemot decals The Sukhois were planned to be followed be serial build of Pe-2 and Po-2, but the war started and somehow I did not wanted this days to do more machines with red stars... 6. Loire 130, Azur 7.Potez 452 8. Zlin XII 9.Avia FL-3 10. Saiman 202 11. Siebel 202 12. Arado 79 13. Praga 114 14. Klemm 25 15. Caudron 600 (resin kit) 16. Klemm 35 17. DFS-230 (Huma) 18. Do 17 Ka3 19. Do 17 Z3 20. Dornier Do 17P 21. Culver PQ 14 22. Ryan PT 22A 23. Ryan STM 24. Fairchild PT 26 25 & 26. Fairchild Argus II & Argus III 27. Vultee BT 13 Valiant 28. Beech Staggerwing UC 43 29. Stinson/Vultee L1F Vigilant 30 Stearman/Boeing N2S5 (PT 13d) Kaydet (I will replaced the photos by the day light one ASAP) and the not finished yet Vickers Valentia (so I do not count it to the score of 30, but the works so far was done in 2022...) Heather Kay
What a collection, and nothing mainstream or commonplace! Your Italian and obscure French models are an inspiration to me, and have grown my wish list enormously.

Your Italian and obscure French models are an inspiration to me, and have grown my wish list enormously. Thank you! My list of "1940 Italians" grown a bit recently - I have found then besides obvious RA types like SM79, Cr 42, MC 200, G50, Z506, Ro37 and perhaps some less expected like CR32 (69 of this type machines in total were in first line in 1940), Breda 88 (17 used) and the most striking: Savoia Marchetti SM 66 (5 of them in 613 Sq. Aut. at Cagliari, used for recce and sea rescue missions. Reggia Marina with Z 501, Z506, Ro43 but no Ro 44 quoted... I am now eager to build SM 66! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savoia-Marchetti_S.66 Regards J-W

bianfuxia
what an output! Well done. Also, it's cool to see such a collection of weird and wonderful aircraft! I think I only recognised about five of these - the rest were completely new to me. Great yearbook and have a great 2023!

But I wish to do some more vacu this year, we will see if I will manage...
