TonyOD
The sharp eyed will have noticed that I've knocked up a rudimentary banner for the GB, which is sitting in my signature and is linked to this build sub-forum. I'm no graphic designer and given the vast array of subjects (potential, and indeed actual as it turns out!) I couldn't really put just one kind of ship and/or plane in there, but I did find a nice little free-to-use graphic that is suitably saline, maritime and canine! If anyone would like to use it, fill your boots (please be mindful of overall rules regarding signature size). I find it a good way to bring attention to the GB. We appear to be picking up participants who until now hadn't even been aware of it. Just over a week now and I am very excited. Thanks for your continued support. Mjwomack
Rudimentary or not, it's way beyond my skills. I love it but being of limited tech, or any ability, how do I add it to a signature block. Idiots guide please because I didn't even know I had a signature block! TIA
flashlight
Hi, @Mjwomack! I did it this way: right click on the banner saved the graphic to my photo host (in my case OneDrive) clicked on my user name in the upper right corner clicked on 'account settings' clicked on 'signature' (left side) a window opened up like a thread window embedded the banner like I would do with a photo in a thread clicked on 'save' Done. Maybe there's a better way, but that's how I did. Hope this helps. Have a nice New Year's Eve!

Jabba
Sorry but I am unable to copy the image. Am I doing something wrong as when I right click over the image and I try to save it (various options do appear), but when I try to paste it somewhere else I get no paste option. 1

I'm no tech whiz I'm afraid. Right click/save image as should do the trick though?

Rightly or wrongly, but it worked for me... I did it in two stages First saved to my desktop on my laptop (shouldn't some of these terms be updated? - off topic I know) Then uploaded it from there to my photo host (get me with the lingo) Postage in my case So an extra step (1a) in @flashlight's method and suprised myself with it working Hope this helps

Jabba
Got there eventually. I think that I was trying to copy the image last night, but after following the advice of others today it is in my signature block. Many thanks indeed.
TonyOD
Crude as my attempt at graphic design is, I'm chuffed to see our little saline canine chum being adopted by a few shipmates!
heloman1
Hi Tony, how do I get the banner into my build blog? Before PC... Colin
