I moulded a tiny bit of Green stuff for the red nose wheel light and painted that

Funny that they always seem to be missing from kits. they are a nice bit of detail. I added one to my 1/72 SHAR (it's a bit hard to see!).

It's pretty hard to see on this 1/48 as well but I know it's there.

Looks superb Alistair.

Fine work all over.

Simon.

Thanks Simon,

Nearly done.

I'm going to take my time with the last few bits as this is not the time to stuff it up.

Cheers,

Alistair

Looking rather splendid Alistair and very nearly there.

Great job

Chris

Thanks Chris,

Not too far away.

I've got a coat of Steel on the hot nozzles now and will try to get some heat staining on them today.

Thanks Roger,

The temptation has been almost too much to overcome but as I haven't done the Satin coat yet i'm managing to ignore the need.

I got a satin coat mixed with a couple of drops of neutral grey on and unmasked this morning.

Finished off the various lights as well.

Wait no longer.

She's done, as far as I'm concerned.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this one, so no need for any fit note from the good @Dr. Quack.

To all of you who offered help, advice and encouragement I can only thank you all so much.

To everyone who took the time to look, react or comment your help and encouragement is gratefully acknowledged.

RFI Here.

Your help and support has been invaluable.

The Beaufort, well that's all your fault and I will be blatantly stealing your techniques and ideas of course :sorry:
