Reini78
the kit decals are crap, they tend to tear apart, no good quality but my dad somehow managed to apply the instrument decals by securing them with Microscale Liquid Decal Film gonna buy aftermarket decals for the exterior DSC_0004 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0005 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0003 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr

The gold tint would be from a conversion coating such as Dow 7, intended to prevent oxidation, but it wasn't very robust or long lasting. https://www.chemical-supermarket.com/Dow-7-Magnesium-Treatment-Compound-p652.html

Vesa Jussila
Impressive. Maybe next is Martini sponsored Porsche 917 for Helmut Marko? Then you have Austrian connection.

Martini scheme means tricky decals already had some problems with these, applied nicely but then turned out to be very brittle, have to do some touch-ups with white paint
Reini78
decals finished although they are sealed with clear coat, still the one or other little piece brakes off, have to do some more touch-ups DSC_0005 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0006 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr

Only area with shine-through is the side stripe being slightly visible in the side number decals, but on the lighted pics you don´t see it. Regarding cracks in the decals, did some touch ups with white paint.
