"Project Carver" was an indigenous fighter program by the ATLAS Aircraft Corporation for the South African Air Force. The project was unfortunately cancelled in favour of the Rooivalk attack helicopter. It is still a very fascinating subject, concealed in secrecy and mystery for decades. This 1/72 scale resin kit is a future project, and it will be based on the original single engined design, which was supposed to be powered by an ATAR 09K50.

pretty much! lots of ex Lavi designers involved in the project. having to rely on the atar 9k-50 rather than a newer engine would have been a real handicap though.
