Hi Rodger. My uncle flew UP/G 79 Squadron RAAF and I want to make a Mk Vc in his memory. Can you please advise what colors of SMS paints that you used (they happen to be my favourites) and which sets of decals you used from both companies? Thanks.

G'day mate,
I used the following SMS shades:

• PL 78 Foliage Green,
• PL155 RAAF Earth, and 
• PL156 RAAF Sky Blue.

Decals used were a combination of the:

• Aeromaster sheet number 48-666 Aussie Mk V Spits Part I, and 
• Ronin Decals sheet, number RDS-042 Royal Australia Air Force 79 Squadron Spitfire Mk Vc.  

The Ronin Decals sheet has markings for UP/G as well.
